The Iceberg Exposed


Ever wondered what was below that amazing glass structure opposite the Plaza, housing Apple's flagship store?
An equally amazing but rammed glass staircase! Akin to the prism outside the Louvre but with way more folk milling around it. In fact it proved impossible to shop there.
The lines were 50-70 deep and you couldn't see anything so I left. Fact is my recollection of it reminds me just how much shopping isn't a part of my being.
I like buying but hate shopping. In fact around the corner is a far more incredible experience <a href="http://www.rizzoliusa.com">Rizzoli's.</a> The New York institution, books that you simply cannot believe, piled high amongst gems from ages ago and music and magazines that I am sure are only printed for them. </p>
<p>They are excruciatingly creative and unique. On subjects so niche, that the niche has become niche.</p>
<p> What's with that shopping and buying thing and why am I so bad at it... Hey ho... Soon be landing.</p>
